thnx anyways.. but the problem being is that, i dont want the auto tranny at all. I jus needed to know if it were possible to make a complete swap from a auto-engine to a manual-engine. need to know before i buy the car.

yes it's possible, and it's very easy.

All you need is the shift linkage and bolts/boots and a shift boot..

edit: and you will just need to run the manual ECU.

Well there is alot more then that.

You need the clutch peddle assembly, the clutch master cyl, all the clutch lines (from the master cyl to tranny), and a few other misc parts. Its not that much work if you have all the parts - but its still a pain in the ***.

bummer, i really want to ask my friend who is the expert... but hes out of town and i just found this car for a sweet deal. and i have a lot of $$$ left over after buying the engine... so i guess really, money isnt a big deal in this situation...unless it runs up to an extra grand just to get the manual tranny then that'll be a bitch...

Also youre going to need manual clutch and brake pedal. clutch master cylinder and corresponding lines. these parts dont come w/ the standard swap.

Basically, unless the car is really worth, wait till a 5speed comes along. Converting to cable clutch is easy, but running the hardlines for the hydrolic, as well as placing it in the firewall, cant be fun. U could just by my hatch, pre-swaped, lol.
