anyone going to trade up for the WRX STI?

i'd preffer an evo vii. and also i'd preffer the real sti headlights. circle lights on that car look good. they always gotta switch it up for us in the US. dammit.
Sure its a nice car and somewhat cheap speed, but the WRX bandwagon is getting kinda crazy now adays. All i see now is blue WRX's all over the roads and plenty of friends who all want to get the same car. A bit over played and over-hyped IMO. When i get a new car, its going to be rwd with big n/a or turbo power.

Cal : Too have though about buying a DC-5R, after watching the Honda Type R battle video.
I read about them today at the airport.
It runs 0-60 in 4.4 sec.
and 1/4 mile in 12.9 sec. Jeezzz that is fast but the price of the car tested was 38k almost 39k.
It is no doubt fast as hell, but that is pretty high on $$$.

Your Lieing, because once the DC-5R hits the US shores. You'll be the first one to puchase it.
I'll stick with my current WRX. I know if I ever want to make it as fast as an STi that won't be all that difficult (especially for the difference in price between the current gen WRX to the new STi).
I doubt I would get that. Id probably either buy a EVO first, or just buy a WRX and build it up and save myself some money. Its not that hard to get a WRX into 12's. I cant wait for the first EVO or "dubya" to pull up to the R, four cylinders of naturally aspirated fury will be unleashed upon their heads

i think dodge neon going to own both evo and sti for the price.. 19k... and if its really 223whp
Meh, i like the new look of the STi but i'm not impressed with the way a subie handles. I'll stick with my honda
The neon will be nice, but i think it needs a nice LSD, and an exterior look adjustment
hehe

The WRX STi is definitely a nice car and it's understeer, weight, and turbo lag are definitely no reason to get rid of your ITR!
