i just got my toda header and apexi n1 but i am wondering on what cat to get.
i want the carsound but i am wondering if the universal one will fit because the header wont bolt right on. if you guys could help me and and also tell me where i can get the carsound and if it i can get the universal or not.

Contact Dave the owner of SMSP. He can hook you up with a carsound to fit what you have and also will weld in bungs for your O2 sensors so you don't throw a CEL.

while we are on the subject of the Toda header and catalytic converters..

does anyone know if the Toda header is the same length, longer, or shorter, than a JDM 4-2-1 ITR header (not JDM 4-1.. unless those two are the same )

 

should be the same as any header designed to be a direct fit for the jdm itr

 

The TODA header is the same length as the JDM type R header. The only headers that are longer are SMSP, Hytech, and Comptech Racing headers.

There is JDM 4-2-1. It is on the 96 spec ITRs.

in 98+ they changed it to the 4-1

 

But isn't the JDM 4-2-1 just the same design as the USDM 4-2-1 but with a 2.5" collector? Why would anyone want to waste their money on it?

While we're on the subject of the toda header, I have the JDM DC 4-1 headers with a carsound cat. Will the toda header fit with the carsound cat if i trash the JDM DC 4-1? NHB 00-1526

 

according to the posts above,
since both collectors are 2.5", and are the same length.. i don't see why not.
