Default Type-r frame connector on the rear

This is a pic of a type-r rear... I was wondering if i could make my own sub-frame connector as seen in the pic. I was thinking a permanantly welded piece custom made to go on the bottom like the ITR instead of right below the sway bar like all aftermarket bars are.

Any opinions?

Comptech makes a rear tie bar positioned the same as the type-r ones. The comptech ones require drilling.

Install a Type R sway bar using the BSQ kit.

yea.. rear lower tie bar... I can make one for next to nothing and weld it in. The comptec piece looks good, but also looks very Pricey! $$Bling$$Bling$$

This is about function, not fashion.. thats for the replies though.

I think that is a good idea. That is why I bought the Comptech Tie Bar.
