Problem with My Clutch Need Some Help?????
I have a 94 acura integra ls with 68K miles on it. I bought the car about a year ago with 57k miles on it and I don't no if the clutch has been replaced. Here is my problem: Every time I drive and I put the clutch in shift to the next gear and let out the clutch it makes a whiney/screetching sound. If I let the clutch out while drving and im in nuetrel it doesn't make the sound. The time the noise is the worst is when I am slowing down while downshifting and going up hills with traffic and I haver to mesh the clutch and gas. One of my freinds said it could be my clutch master cylinder. Others say it is my whole clutch. If any one could help me out that would be great. Also anyone who lives in the Phoenix area do you no who can install a new clutch and flywheel reasonably cheap? thanks
BAD CLUTCH JOB!!!
what type of clutch did you install
there are several other aftermarket clutches that
push your gear out of place due to monster grip!
well to get the job done well you should prepare yourself w/following
seals engine rear cranck seal
tranny seal
axles seals
bearings
throw out bearings
flywheel
resurface flywheel or replace w/lighter one
clutch
make your decision on type of driving
transmission
!!!!check your tranny oil."""""
break period
make sure you drive at low speeds until 3,000 miles
