Default 2000 Accord Auto Trans Problem

Is there a way to overide the parking lock button on a 2000 Accord automatic transmission? I am having trouble getting the release button to push in?
Any help will be appreciated.

call your dealer...a lot of the accord auto transmissions have been recalled for little things

its your brake switch. the switch that unlocks your shifter.
