Does anyone have the information handy on what is done on the 12000 Km service interval? The dealership is charging $80 / CAD for the oil change. That doesn't sound right at all.

I don't have it handy, but I think it is oil/ filter change, check of brakes, and a few other minor checks. Just ask the dealer what they are doing for the $80 and compare to the manual. I have never done the 7500 mile services at the dealer because I change my own oil. You could probably just change the oil yourself or take it to an oil change palce if you trust that.

 

This is the "normal" schedule.
It is in miles.
You have to do the conversion.

I recommend you change the tranny fluid at least once per year.
You'll know why when you remove the drain plug and see what's stuck on the magent.

By the way, there is nothing in that list above you can't do yourself.
Just document it all with the mileage and dates.

My van has yet to return to the dealer in it's 2 1/2 years of ownership.

As far as I'm concerned it never will.
