Default Lowering the seats

I have searched and came up blank. Does anybody know how to make the drivers seat sit lower then what the controls on the side will let you do. I might buy different seats down the road, but for now I'd like to lower my leathers height. Thanks guys and girls.

Make it sit lower? Im not too sure how that would be possible aside from some cutting/welding.

Del Sol seats are relatively cheap and will sit you a bit lower.

You must be pretty tall if you're looking for lower seats. I'm 6'5" and I fit in my GS-R... just.

the lowest seat i've ever sat in an integra is the spoon seat.. in which i can barely see over the dash.. of course that'll cost you a pretty penny..

Yeah, I think you can do this. First you have to seperate the cusions from the rails; there are a few bolts on each side. The inside is easy, the outside (with the angle *****) are pretty tough. I've never gotten that one off...

Then, either remove around 1/2 of material just over the slider rail where it meets the vertical mounting bracket; then weld it together so the overall height would be 1/2 or whatever shorter than before.

Another idea would be to cut the mounting brackets from the bottom of the seat. Then, notch the crossmember built into the floor at the front mounting points under the seat to the entire thing will sit lower. You might be about 1/4" lower on the back and up to 1/2 to 1 inch lower on the front.

Good luck!
