Sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't find any posts. I had an aftermarket radio in my 96 cx and have decided to go with the factory look. I was wondering if I could put the factory radio back in and hook up a factory cd player (where the tape deck is). Will this work and what years could I use to get the cd player from? Will there be modifications such as changing harnesses. Thanks in advance.

 

There is a add on single cd player (it is just a slot for a cd with a Honda symbol in the corner) that will fit where the tape player is currently set. It has all the same dimensions and connects to the factory headunit exact to the tape player, no harnesses, direct fit. Check the classifieds for a single cd player or check with Honda, but to my knowledge they are normally not too common and may be hard to come by through the Classifieds section here. Good luck.
