If I were to buy a 88-91 Civic Dx, and eventually convert it to an Si. Approximately how much would it cost? (with and without sunroof and engine). Please include the parts name and cost.

Also what are the gas mileages for the Dx and Si?

Just wondering about these because I need a different car, and I want a 4G but an Si might not be as practical because I would probably be taking lots of 2 hour trips. I would eventually do an engine swap. But to have the sunroof, the tach, the tranny/engine and seats and everything already would be nice. And as of not money is an object.
