Default What kind of susp. should I go with on ITR?

First of all I've never auto X'd my car & I only
visit the local strip on occasion. Is it worth
spending the $ on Apex W/S sus. or just get
something like Ground Control coilovers & some
adj. struts? Oh, & what kind of camber kit
should I use? Thanx!

Most of us, if not ALL of us, will tell you to drive your car stock. DRIVE THE CAR STOCK.

like said above.
drive your car stock and learn how to drive it first.
ITR suspension is already nice, why upgrade when you haven't used it to its potential.

people like you dont deserve an ITR.
you are asking people what kind of suspension you should put on your ITR, yet you dont do anything with it, nor do we know what the hell you intende to do on it.

if you want an intelligent answer, then you ask intelligently, and you post details on what you want out of this "SUS." that you intend on getting.

you've had the car for 2 years and never attended an autox nor anything that involves turning? but you've been to the local "strip" occasionally.

ok. and you bought an ITR because....

I had my car for a while and thought I had gotten use to the suspension. I wanted something else as well to make the car more stiff. Then I started autocrossing it and realized how incredibly awesome our stock setup is. Ride height and stiffness isn't everything. Balance is important and if you ask me they got pretty darn close to perfect. My advice is to get alot more track experience before you decide on changing the suspension. If you have never tracked it you don't know what you like and don't like in terms of the cars handling.

If you are going for a lower ride height almost all of us agree that cutting the stock springs is the way to go. Its the cheapest and best performing option out there. Zeal, Tein, Buddy Club, Mugen, and Spoon have all been trying to reproduce the unbeatable stock cut spring setup for years.

It doesn't matter if he has owned it for 50 years he is still a noob in terms of suspension if he has never tracked it.

First let me say to you.....Thanks for giving me
an intelegent answer & not attacking me (as
others have) for merely asking a ?. I've read
?'s on this board many times that in actuality I
thought were down right goofy. But, I take in
mind that who asks the ? might not know as much
as I know about a particular subject. Anyway,
I'm not one for cutting springs but thanks again
for the info.

The cutting spring thing was a joke.

I just don't want you to yourself for not experiencing the stock setup.

You know, what amazes me is people think since I
have never tracked my R I don't know what I'm
talking about. For one thing there is no autoX
track anywhere near me. But those who appreciate
a great handling car would love the area I live.
Snake roads, tight apex turns, steep hills &
good pavement. Well, good pavement most of the
times. I got hammered by folks who hate the fact
I've never autox'd the car but what if I were
the kinda person that just put it in a garage &
only drove once in a few months? Now to me that
is a crime! I've had my R over 2 years & it has
34k mi. on it. It's way too much fun to just let
sit!

OK so your 20 years old & think you know so much. I'm almost double your
age & had far more driving experience than you have. I don't have to
explaine myself to you @ all but you have alot of growing up to do plus
if you really wanted to help someone all you have to do is ask for a few
more details & I would have gladly shared them with you. I was your age
@ one time but never acted like such an immature brat. Plus who are you
to tell me I don't deserve to own an R? grow up young (boy).
