whats the difference between 96-99 Gsr's and 00-01's????
i have a 01 gsr swap in my ek.
i noticed that the greddy turbo they make is only for the 96-99 gsr's why not the 00-01?
and i also tried to install a header from my friends 00 b16a2 and where the header bolts to the cat the bolts are lined up different. anyone know why?

the kits should not differ at all, its at time it has not be test fitted to the newer setup therefore they don't gurantee it to fit or never made the update...99-01 should have no major changes.
headers from b16a and GSR differ in lenght as well at times the angle of the attachment. it sort of depends on what year you compare.

but the thing is my friend installed a ss dc jdm 4-1 header for his car and the ends are pointed in the same direction. im just hoping when i get turbo that im not gonna have anyproblems. thats all thanx for the info in advance.
oh and here are the headers the ceramic is for the si and the ss is for an integra.

This is confusing..
Ok. You're TRYING to put a 2000 Si B16 header onto a GSR engine that is in an EK? WHY?
The SS header you posted has a 2.5" collector, the ceramic has a smaller one. I believe some aftermarket headers come with the 2.5". I know for a fact that my JDM ITR header has a collector that big. And because of that, I have to use a JDM cat, it won't bolt to a USDM cat.
But I'm not really understanding this...

sorry if this is confusing. im just wondering why on the bottom of my header the flange is straight. and on both of those headers they are angled more. and they wont bolt on to my cat. clear anything up? if not ill take some pics.

if u notice where it connectes to the cat its horizontal and not at an angle. hope this helps.

It depends on what cat and exhaust you are running. I think I know what you are talking about. You're saying that the flange on the header doesn't line up, right? What exhaust are you running, with what cat? Did they modify your header when you did the swap? Doesn't look like the stock exhause because of the cat. Anyways, your probably gonna have to take it to an exhaust shop and have them modify it some what.
yes! that is what im talkin about.
i am running a gsr cat.(well thats what the guy said)
but they had to modify it to fit the header cause the flange wasnt in the right direction. i was just wondering why my header was in a different position than others. thas all thanx for all the feedback
