Default Guages

Alright I asked this question over in Tech and I am not getting any real answers...

Has anyone Used an Aftermarket Speedo and Tach in place of the Stock Guage Cluster. Meaning Totally eliminating the Stock Cluster, All Aftermarket guages. I have my CRX apart for the Winter and have the spare $$ and wouldn't mind trying it. Anyone done this? If so how did you do it?

I do not like Tachs mounted Elsewhere or Shift Lights and would like a speedo that reads out higher. Theft is a concern as many cars are getting broken into in my area (NoVA), So this is a solution that may seem harder but would save me trouble in the long run.

Thanks
Mike
