What header will fit in my EF with b18c?
I bought a jdm itr 4-1 header and it didn't fit because there are no room infont.
So, i was wondering if anybody know what kind of header should i get? I was thinking about the JG header 4-2-1, will that fit? Thank You

alot of these guys i hear hav eto bang out their crossmember to get their headers to fit, you may wanna try that, or get one of those spiffy jimfab crossmembers
bang the crossmember? how? down or in?, well, what if i don't want to bang the crossmember or buy the z10. I mean are there any header that directly fit into the car?
http://www.an-r.com kinda weird looking, but fits without cutting the crossmember.
This is how my stock crossmember looked like when I banged it to fit the jdm 4-1 header...
I later replaced it with one from PlaceRacing. (cheapest I found)...Just a friendly advice, do not sacrifice performance for fitment or settle on a header just because it fits with no modification. Just my .02...To answer your question, a DC header for a Bseries motor should fit without further crossmember mods.

wow, that look mess up man. I don't want my crossmember to be like that. It a daily drive car. I know what you mean about performance, but it a daily drive car.
yeah get a place cross member there bad ***, and cheap too. PLus you can use a 5th gen radiator more room and more affective. and a 4th mount too.
That little dent int eh crossmember ant gonna make your car ride any different nor hurt it... geese... And if your scured to bang or cut yours... buy one.. thats the final answer.
the 4th mount will only work on PlaceRacing crossmembers if you have the same brand engine mounts. I have the newer Hasport billet mounts and they're 1/2 an inch taller. Anyway, i'm from the Bay Area too so if you want my old banged crossmember, you can have it. It's in my garage somewhere collecting dust...
Header sticking out on the bottom has nothing to do with the crossmember. Using the Hasport billet mounts will raise your motor about half an inch which would probably help a bit but I'd definitely recommend getting a header shield, top and bottom. They usually go for about $75...worth the money.
yea i know that the header sticking out from the bottom have nothing to do with the crossmember. I just want to know how does your look. Cuz i think if i do get the placeracing crossmember then i will have room infont but sticking out from the bottom. And plus, the bad thing is i cut and weld my mounts.
something tells me that the anr header wont clear my a/c....Crap it looked sweet too!....mines rusty....but i aint got not $$ so iwill have to make do for a while.

This is a Comptech 4-2-1 on a B16 mounted with an HCP kit-

It leaves a good 2+" of clearance.

Hey Abaz, how does your kamakazi 4-1 header feel? I mean the spec of the header.
