I had pulled some plugs(connections) under the hood last night when I went out and for some party action and when I got back to the car I forgot to plug them in and I started the car, it ran really bad. So I shut it off plugged everything in and drove home with the CEL light on.
So I know I did nothing to damage anything except trip the light, SO how do I shut the light off?

 

I forgot due to drinking
drinking and driving
Drinking and driving the R
Drinking and forgetting to plug things in
getting home in one peice

Not my normal thing to do... Once a year ( pretty bad excuse huh?)

at least i didnt drink and drive yesterday.

but i was stonned instead.. which is ALOT safer to do than DD.

try to connect all the ***** u unplugged and restart ECU. that's all i could think of.

 

My question is How to reset the ECU, what fuse or plug does that?

 

disconnect the battery for 10 sec

 

Is there another way?, resetting my sound system is a bitch!

 

ecu fuse in the engine compartment I think
or bring it to me on saturday so I can clear it with the scanner

they are both on the same backup circuit.
your only other option is to unplug the ecu from the harness.
but if you did a search you would know this
