$1000, some idiot parting a GSR out, and he had no idea what the big deal bout that engine is.

 

this one guy i kno has a stolen ls in his eg for the last year or so and he still hasn't been caught w/ it..not to mention he drives around w/o a license..going street racing on a weekly basis and having his car impounded at least 3 times a month..either he's been amazingly lucky..or the whole driving w/ a stolen motor is overrated..

NOT THAT I'M ENCOURAGING IT HOWEVER

Why not turn him into the police dumbass? You know how many people get their cars ripped off here, that could be someones motor on here. Someone with liability insurance who lost everything and this guys running around racing with a stolen motor and you do nothing?
The post up at the top about the stolen motor, he was joking and it was quite obvious.

 

Got mine for 2000 installed. Really great motor and not exactly stock. I got ctr cams and b16 tranny. BTW, anyone know how much a GSR tranny goes for? Thanks

Nah don't make him turn in his friend...My friend had a GSR in his EG and he got his car impounded because there was road blocks set up on "car club" night around here (This was when racing was out of hand)..Cops found out the motor was stolen afterward and took it out of his car..get this - His nice SI rims,Exhaust,and Head unit was stolen from him while the car was in the impound..

I feel bad for him but I guess he will never touch a stolen motor again...

picked up a 99 gsr tranny 15k miles for $600 shipped (thanks dan p.)

ill sell complete gsr swaps installed for 3400-3800

 

i got my 01 gsr swap for $2650
it only gots 11k miles. i thought it was a pretty good deal.
