Why do people sell these? Isn't it illegal? Taking a different cars VIN and putting it on yours? Or is it considered (sp) a 'show' mod?

I think they sell them just to make money, no you cant use them on your car it is illegal to run 2 different vin's on your car. I think the people that buy them are like Oh cool a JDM VIN Number!!! On Ebay they sell all sorts of JDM tags like the under hood tags the tag thats on the air cleaner...ETC, ETC.....

 

like I said jdm rice, funny cause they probably sell alot of those, and then people show their car off and say"look, it's a real deal ef-9!"....uh, yeah.

 

The people who buy them probably think that it makes their cars faster.
