I believe the swap required the hood, bumper, headlights, reinforcements (maybe), and the fenders (which would have to be cut in half and welded together).

Try a search - front-end swap questions have been asked before and should answer most of your questions.

Why would you do that? It's practically the same....only the del Sol has the fogs..

Could u just replace the whole front end with 92-95 parts?
like front quarter panels, hood, forn t end and headlights?
Arent the chasisn in general very similar....Iv seen ek front end on a eg but that required the welding.(oh well im not sure.i just thought alot of it would bolt right up)
and im prob wrong.

Here are some I found. I've seen a 92-95 conversion, but I can't find pics.

That JDM ITR conversion is awesome. I think it looks better on Sols than on ITRs

Ok maybe not.

I like the '92-'95 Civic front end and the JDM ITR front because the headlights, since they're more horizontal and long, make the Sol's body look wider and lower.

Has anyone ever seen the Del Sol front on a 5th gen Civic?

you will need the hood, bumper, fenders, rad. support, lights and corners.

you have to cut your fenders somewhere in the arch of the wheel well and same place on the 92-95 fenders and weld them together. and then weld in the rad. support. then bolt on the hood, lights corners and finally the bumper. and you should have it finished.

The 92-95 (fifth gen.) has all of the same bolt-up points as the del sol. The only thing that you will have to change is the core support.

i think the ITR front looks the best, but i like both the 5th and 6th gen fronts on the sol too.

ugh. I'm not a fan of any of those.

Although, I HAVE seen S15 Sylvia front end and S2000 taillights on a very very clean del sol and looked awesome.

i only like most of those conversions cuz they look pretty clean and everything lines up nice, but the headlights and front lines of the del sol are unique so keep it that way. i might turn to look at it on the street but it wouldn't be something i'd fork out cash to get done. unless ur a hardcore carshow goer, what's the point. and if you need to see a pic or have a pic, well then obviously it's been done already. just my .02. spend more money under the hood, not redoing one thats perfectly fine.

i kno i kinda went off topic on ur post man. my bad. just expressing my opinion. no offense intended. if you want me to delete this post just lemme kno. peace
