should i trade my 95 gsr for a 92 hatch with h22a?
think its a fair trade for my 95 integra gsr . completely stock. blk on blk with 120k. for a white 92 hatchback VX with a H22a swap in it. Motor runs strong.gonna have it compression tested first also.the hatch is real clean looking and is all stock except for motor, apexi N1 exaust/test pipe/skunk 2 coilovers and aftermarket shocks. he took it to the track and ran a 13.4 with street tires. and a 12.8 with slicks, this is 2 sec. faster than my stock gsr ,lol. Obvious reasons i want the car is for its speed but i also want the reliability of having it off a stock motor as well. ive also had many cars in the past....95gsr,99si greddy turbo'd,95 ls. and i never had a hatch and kinda always wanted one. Also my i wanna trade even more because my friend has a hatchback with a b18c1 and he always talks about it so thought id be funny to see the look on his face when i race him.
Also i have never bought a car that has been previously modified, nor ever think i would.I figured it wasnt really MY car if i bought soemthing that someone else moded,ya know. But i figured sense nothing was really done tot he outside and that it is still a basically stock h22a there much more that could be done. but anyways if anyone has any opinions let me know.
(my gsr also in exc. cond. in and out and shoudl be able to get $7500 stock ....just to let you all know)also how much does it cost to get your compression checked?can i do it myself for cheap with the right tools?thanks again,Randy

I say keep your GSR. The value of your car will always be worth more than the Hatch. The rest of the world could care less about the H22. Besides the hatch is a VX. My 2 cents...
Time seems quite fast for a bone stock H22A in a Vx. Granted the car is light but i say BS on that one. 14.0 maybe, 13.4 naw. At least not on street tires.
Insurance on the Civic will be cheaper .... but Integra's look more sheik to me ... but then again .. an H22 would be nice...

A compression tester is $25 at auto zone. It's very easy to do. Just get the tester yourself, and read the howto on c-speedracing.com
