Default photoshop gurus need ur help

Ok im playing with paint shop pro ( pretty much the same as photoshop ) anways im playing around with it trying to change the colors and all, was wondering what would be the best hue/saturation combo to make my car pheonix yellow? also how do u make the color of ur car more dull? as in with most of the colors the paint comes out real shiny, and with pheonix yellow its not that bright

It always depends on the image youre working with and what hues and tones are there already.

trial and error is key.

indeed.. you just have to do it till you get it.. I suppose you could desaturate the pic and then colorize it.. then the numbers for a certain color would be pretty much the same as other pics that you did the same thing to(assuming it colorizes the pic the same color everytime).
