just wondering.. i prefer the CRX front bumper and i know it wont just bolt up.but if i did the entire front end, would it work/and look stock?

yes. i think you are correct there.. i was also wondering about the area where the hood meets the bumper. is it a different filler panel or does the bumper take up that spot?

Everything bolts right up as long as you use pieces from the same group of years, 88-89 or 90-91. If you want to change the years, then you will want the headlamps and side markers too.

The only problem is with the front fenders from the CRX. The have a spot just below the where the side molding goes that uses a black plastic piece that matches the black side skirts that come on the CRXes. When i did my front end conversion, I grafted the lower portion of the Civic's fender on to the CRX fender.
