thinking of buying civic/crx, opinons needed

i thinking of either buying a 88-91 hb si or a crx si
what are the diff between them?
are they pretty much the same other than the body?

Yes. Same engine. CRX is lighter and doesnt have a back seat. But Civics look better

Well if he's asking for opinions, then I say that the CRX is a better looking car. And being that it's lighter, it's a more popular choice for auto-X and drag racing.

CRX's are more of a cult car, and they're rarer then the HB's.
Personally, I like the Civics. I owned a CRX too, but the Civic is just growing on me.
Oh hey, you live in the same area as me. BE CAREFUL. SO many CRX's around here are rusted out around the rear quarters. My advice: get a strong magnet and search the car for hidden bondo. Also inspect the floorpans for holes.

I've owned 2 ef hbs and 2 ef crx's, I like the crx better, 90-91s si come with rear disc, the interior is better looking IMO, and the crxs are lighter...I like both cars, but I do like the crx better as far as all around appearance
