i fully intend on getting the swap. but thats going to be at least 3-4 months from now or more. I was just hoping there was something i could do that would make the accord alittle bit more jumpy....spark plugs or maybe a parts swap mod? i dont really know.....

Work on the suspension and brakes so that way your chassis will be on the same level as the H22 when you get it.

Get POWERED BY HONDA stickers.. those might increase your mid-range power.. id say maybe 5-10hp. Its well worth it. And the girls will be swinging on your *****.

I understand that you want something to make it a little faster now, but, anything you do to the car now will be a waste when you do the swap in 4 months. As someone who has an H22 in an accord I would say just save your money, bide your time, and deal with it being slow until you can do the swap. It will be well worth it. Then you can use that money to make your car faster and really surprise the hell outta some people.

that sounds quite painful. I think I'll have to pass

You could alway do a 50 shot of N20. would make you faster and you could easily install it on the H22 later.

otherwise thats about it. new plugs will help keep you in top running shape, but don't expect a lot of gains. depending on your mileage, a highflow cat might give you a little bit.

Work on the suspension and brakes so that way your chassis will be on the same level as the H22 when you get it.
It would be a shame if you cannot put all those extra horses to the ground. A set of Koni yellows and Ground Control components should help you out tremendously in handling/launching your H22 equipped Accord.
Some weight reduction would not hurt either. You can work on removing all the sound-deadning material under your carpet, replace those heavy stock seats with some stronger-lighter weight Sparcos/Recaros/Kirbys, throw on a CF hood, get a 15lbs Oddesey battery just to start.
In the brake department, I upgraded to Power Slots/Matrix pads with sucess. I would not plan on going with bigger discs if you are planning to run small drag slicks/wheels in the future because the wont fit.

The mod is pretty easy. It's just a transistor that you plug into the sensor. Don't make the mistake that I did and got it off ebay for $15. Boy was I pissed when I found out it was just a 15 cent transistor from Radio Shack.

or you can be like me dump mad money into nitrous and still be waiting for the swap. by the way my accord is a stock motor with a couple of mods. believe me at first i thought the nitrous was worth it but i rather be up there with the bigger dogs with the prelude swap.
