GSR is misfiring......PLEASE HELP!!!!
Ok, at first it was codes 72 and 73, which are cyl. 2 and 3 misfiring. I changed my plugs, wires, and distributor. Checked the timing, and it is perfect.
So after I put on the new distributor, now it is only throwing 71 and 73.....no more 72, but now its missing in cyl. 1 and 3. The injectors are good, we checked those. I also put a p28 in to see if the ECU was my problem, but I'm still getting the same codes.......WHAT IS THE DEAL? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Sounds like an electrical problem to me.
How is your idle?
What rpm do you misfire at?
Do you find that you misfire more often at low or high temps?
What are the conditions like outside when you are misfiring?
Have you farked around with the computer at all under the kick plate?
Do you have an external coil?

The cap and rotor are both new. My idle seems smooth with the exception of the misfiring. It misses at all temps. It starts throwing the code as soon as you start the car up/

double check everything u changed on the car including the coil...I had a misfire once and it was the spark plugs are too far..so gap them according to the spec...try to check ur ignition wires too along with ur caps and rotors..coz sometimes even if they are brand new they can be defective...hope this helps...if u have some fuel pressure regulator...maybe u need to give it more gas...hope this helps
i had a friend that worked at a honda dealer, and he said a lot of people that start modding their cars have this problem. he told me something, that i'm really not sure that i believe. he said to change your thermostat ?!? i dont get why that would have a role in it really, but. i suppose it's worth a shot
Not sure buddy but my friend had that same prob on his 2000 Si and it was some cheap gas he put in and always make sure that u a are using 91 Octane. Also do you misfire during idle or when your giving it some gas? If not when its ilde coulde be bad compression.
