i want to get a apex n1 universal muffler, cus i think its smaller than the regular n1, but i like that the universal comes in different colors.

anyways my question is that if i get the n1 universal, can the Regular N1's catback be used?

 

yea you could but it would be pointless...........get the universal and find a muffler shop that does manderl bending and have them do the cat back .........it will come out cheaper and most likely better(if the muffler shop knows what there doing)

 

but with mandrel bent the bends have a smaller pipe diameter, since they have just been bent instead of cut and welded. Correct me if im wrong

mandrel bent = where they bend the pipes using a big *** machine that doesn't affect the pipe diameter where the bends are. i hope that makes sense

mandrel bending is very good i have N1 mandrel bent custom and love it. Mandrel bending just bends and stretchs the pipe will not chance diamater at all. thats why the machines to do it run 60 grand or so
