Carbon On Bumper

Hey. why is it that when I installed my poon n1 my bumper is cover in black carbon after 100 k's. but when I put the stock unit back on, nothing?

That is just the way it is. I believe it affects the air/fuel mixture when you change exhausts thats why you get the deposits

Usually after I go for a drive I try to wipe the bumper down to avoid staining. But I will always wipe the area right above the exhaust tip.

I think its because the packing is starting to deteriorate and combined with the very limited filtering due to its sraight-through construction.

So is an aftermarket exhaust a detriment to the vehicles overall exhaust system?
