Hi Rev tuners...blah the cars they show are so tasteless. The hosts blab on and on about the cars they show but all it boils down to is APC this and project crap Focus that. And they keep running that APC'ed out RSX the promo for Pep Boys but for some reason I can't stop watching it!

On a sidenote, the Speed Channel GT and Touring and British Touring racing rocks!!

I was watching that last night too, i couldn't believe that ugly 95 civic that was green and orange, just tasteless

Wow, Merritt went to Madeira? Who knew I used to hang with a bunch of girls from there in my day..... "Locust Valley Lockjaw"- I haven't heard that term since I used to party with CZ and Cornelia Guest. I wonder if anyone here is old enough to know who they are?

As for the Hi-Rev Tuners show... I still haven't seen that particular episode (ok so I haven't seen most episodes). I am kind of embarassed so I don't think I could watch it.

 

 

 

Thursten Howell III from Gilligan's Island would be an even better example of Locust Valley Lock Jaw.

The area was known for the concentration of extremely weathly families that lived there back in the early 1900 such as the Rockefeller, Guggenheim, Vanderbilt, Doubleday, JP Morgan and Tiffany. The book "The Great Gatsby" was based on this area called the Gold Coast on Long Island NY. It is still an extremely affluent area. Although several of the estates/ mansions remain most have been made cut up into million dollar+ condos and homes.

Damn, George is full of knowledge and wisdom. If I have any personal problems, I might have to IM George..

 

For some reason I can't stop watching this show dispite the following facts:
3 people who host the show no nothing about cars and have terrible tv personalities

I do not like the nintendo game boy cars

The show provides little technical insight or useful info.

Must be the fact the first episode I watched had a JDM ITR on it

Its not a dual exhaust. Its just a mugen muffler you see next to a Benen tow hook.

VIR was fun once I got loosened up and used to it. I think it would be even more fun now that I have some good suspension! I need to do more track events to relieve some tension...
