my car was a standard model 89 civic hatch, and so i was told that a STD wire harness is different from a DX harness.

My question is: What other wire harnesses from other cars (integra?) can i use besides the actual ZC harness?

 

You can use the SI wire harnes from 89-91, thats the same one I used for mine. Junkyard is your best find.

 

Yes, on my old ZC setup I used a 91' Si wiring harness. I probably still have it lying around somewhere if you need it.
