i got a h23 oil pan can it be used on the h22, does the h23 use 5 quarts also

If both engines are from '92-'96 Ludes, then, yes. It'll fit.

 

all of the lower end parts from a f22,h22,and h23 are inter changeable look at the stamping on it its the same! 100% sure . h23 and f22 internals are the same just the head and blocks are different,(an h23 is just an h22 with f22 intermals) and there not ballanced like the h22. If you look at the rear bottom near the timing belt on the block you will see it is stamped p13 same as h22.
