Default 91' dx planning swap to ls teg.

Alright well i guess its time for the swap... heres the deal i have my stock d15b2 engine in my dx and it time to take it out.

I've been having problems with the engine since i bought the car ... trouble starting, blown head gasket etc. and i i do not feel like putting anymore money into this piece of crap engine lol. I took it to the shop the other day because it wouldnt start and i couldnt figure out what was wrong with it, had spark and gas but did not start just cranked its *** off.well my mechanic there finally figured out i might have some bent valves, and he said it would run about 400-600 dollars to fix the head so thats not happening!

Well i want to know what i would need to make the succesful swap.
Im getting almost a complete swap for $400 or $500<< good price this is including engine, tranny, ecu and axles . I know im going to need wiring and mounts ... are Hcp engineering mounts any good?? well if any one has a step by step swap guide and any info for me pls post thanks ahead of time

Its the same DPFI to MPFI swap that everybody does need the ECU, DIZ and few wiring modifications. I've know a few people that have used the HCP kits they fit really well, just have to watch the shift linkages, some use 84-87 civic back halfs which 88+ shifters will not fit but they include a shifter in the kit.

im guessing the engine is 90-91, which will prolly come w obd0 distributor, injectors. ecu.
swap is pretty much plug and play. the only thing i ran into was an idle problem after the swap, ls has too damn many vacum lines more than b16. had to play around w them a little to get it running right. i can send you the vacuum diagram or a pic of the lines under the hood.
