Something wrong with my car or am I just stupid?
Ok, my car was idleing a little rough today. So, I popped the hood and pushed on one of the plug wires at the distributor that looked a little lose. When I did that, I got shocked and there was a little tiny bit of smoke.
The car didn't stall or anything like that. Also, I have a set of NGK plug wires on it.

After I drove it up to the courthouse to pay my ticket, it was running fine. When I left my house it stuttered a little like it wasn't getting enough fuel. It stutters like that when I'm going around corners also. I think my fuel pump or FPR might be getting ready to go out on me.
how old are your plugs and wires? they may be worn out. had a bad miss when i put a load on the hf, and i put in new plugs and fixed it. it would do it bad enough to kill the motor on takeoff sometimes.
I'm not sure about the wires, a friend gave them to me after he put a SOHC VTEC in his CRX, as for the plugs..........I'm over due to change them. They're about 6 months old. I'll change them and see how it runs then. Thanks for the tip. I was just figuring it was something major, and never gave any thought to the fact that it could be something so simple.
