driving in a straight line is incredibly simple, why dont you try autocrossing. honda's arent made for drag racing genius.

My 02 Civic SI probably would do 15.1 secs in the quarter if I took off the i-VTEC stickers.

H22EK- Lose the stupid finger photo/avatar. We don't need that crap around here.

drag racing is alot harder then you think . esp try bracket racing a little more thna just mashing the gas to the floor

and any car is meant to drag race, just like you can auto x any car.

and no your 02 si wont do a 15.1. high 15's -low 16's of its stock maybe modded too if you cant drive . i know this becuase mine with my GF driving it with intake and exhaust went 15.6 with her driving and she can drive pretty good , me driving it i can prob muster 15.5-15.3 pushing it hard

why even with twice the numbers of pistons do these cars still only manage "slightly" better times than honda's?

Because those are the cars that should only be doing drag racing. Save import drag racing for the Fast and Furious. Or people like your dumb *** who's going to spend a **** load of money modding out your engine to get little HP. Doing the smae mods to those muscle cars with higher liter engines will result in high torque and more HP. So that's why he was talking about muscle cars.

Sorry to make you look like a dumbass again, get your **** straight before you commit.

Taking into account of how many days he's been a member it looks like he posted up just to get some sort of self gratification about how COOL his car is compared to our little Hondas

As for only modding Musclecars, lets compare the HP to liter of both and see who makes power. Any dumbass can make a Mustang go 10's but it takes a little more than just throwing around some cash to make a Honda do comparable times(mind you they are doing it with half the power). Sure money is a factor but driving skill is equally important. You could have the best set-up but without a competent driver it does you no good.

I was gonna say "Sorry to make YOU look like a dumbass" but you do a good enough job of that by yourself.

Save yourself the embarrassment and hush up! Your little HP per liter calculation doesn't mean ****, especially in drag racing. How can you try to compare your HP output to an engine making three or four times the amount of tourque you have?

If you think it's so easy to get a Mustang to do 10s, why don't you have one? Is it becuase you like to be challanged and spend thousands of dollars more so you can do it in a Honda? The fact is, you don't have the knowledge to do 10s in any car and probably never will!

It just doesn't take power to be fast in the 1/4, it takes everything. You probably think that anyone can srap in a car and just nail the gas and get the majical 10. That's not the case it takes driver skill.

You seem like the type of person that would pull up in a 92 civic with a 3'' muffler and start talking smack to a domestic owner and have nothing logical to say except you litlle hp/liter calculation. Keep it to yourself. People like you make the import community look bad!

heres a civic with not really a ton of money throw into it running pretty close to 10's, im sure with bigger slicks and beefier tranny and more boost it could hit 10's
