Yo okay here is the deal ..........my radiator fan is going crazy like makes this grindin noise ......and like u know when u cut your car off the fan comes on......well it comes on but then it sounds like it is rubbin up against something. So sounds likei need a new radiator fan okay...........now i would have to take my radiator out right? And then slide it up...unplug the motor to the fan then unscrew the bolts....then install the new fan am i correct.....from just looking at it that is what my thought is.........but it seems kinda hard.......does anybody have any photos of this being done?

 

There are photos in the Haynes manual. I can try scanning them later when I get home.

removing the radiator is not necesary when changing out the fan. there are 2 or 4 bolts that hold the fan in, just remove the screws on top and remove the wire that is attached to it. i think the bottom portion of it just slips into the radiator with tabs. prolly be done in 30 or more.

 

Yeah i remebr seeing like 3 bolts.......but was not to sure if i should like take the whole radiator out........so it is possible doing that without taking the whole radiator out huh? okay cool i will have to order one off ebay or something.....Would i have to buy the fan and the fan motor sep..........or does it come together and are they alot of money?
