I got a pretty good deal on a 2dr '99 Accord EX V6, so... there were a few imperfections. The driver's seat leans back when pressed against. It's like the seat is connected completely at the back and not the front. Looking closer, I noticed the passenger seat is not the same, but that may be due to the fact that the drivers seat is power. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? It is not noticable when driving, unless I push back with my legs trying to get something out of my pockets. Also... the place we got the car from gave me an alarm remote, but it doesn't work. It seems clear that the car is equipped with an aftermarket alarm. Will I be able to take this to a shop and get a new remote made? That is, if they can't get the one and only old remote to work. Last question... the sunroof doesn't open all the way. It stops a little after being halfway open. Is that normal? The stop it makes is natural, there aren't any struggling gear sounds or anything. If there is something wrong, will it be expensive to fix? Thanks.

 

first thing I would do is check the bolts for the drivers seat .. to make sure they are tight all the way.

Yes ... the sunroof is fine, it doesn't slide completely all the way back. Mine is the same way, I have a 97.

Did you check to see if the remote needed a new battery first?
