ATTN:Brake experts!! need your help!!!
For some odd reason one of my rear calipers is sticking. I've done a brake swap from a 92 teg ls. The outer pad is totally worn to metal and the inner has uneven wear on the driver side and the passenger side is perfectly fine. I've bleed, and flushed the brake system, turned the rotors, and lubed the caliper pins. For some reason the driver side won't uncompress, once compressed it stays, and it's not the piston because the piston will spin both ways freely. So if anyone knows what could be the problem please help me.
ditto. caliper might have locked due to rust. if the pad is wearing unevenly, check to make sure your rotor is not warped also.
warped rotors and rusted calipers could be a sign that they are getting exposed to too much water.
if this is the case you might want to invest in some dust shields.

Calipers aren't rusted and rotor isn't warped I wouldv'e noticed it when I turned them!! I'm thinking of rebuilding it with all of the new rubber gaskets/seals!! Don't know if that'll fix it though!!
like someone recommended, either rebuild the caliper yourself, or buy a reman'd one.
if you want to make sure the caliper is sticking, have someone press on the brakes (can be done with the car off) and see if the calipe retracts. you should be able to spin the rotor after the person lets off the brake pedal. if the rotor doesn't spin, then the caliper is definitely stuck.
