HELP ! I made a burn mark on my passenger cloth seat
Hey i accidently put a burn mark on my passenger seat with a heat gun that i set down on it for a moment... It is a 1994 Honda Accord EX with a gray ash cloth seat... The burn mark is only about 2 inches by 1 inch and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix it or cover it up somehow without having to buy a new seat or reupholster it.

Never tried this on a large burn, but it works pretty well for cig burns. it will also work on carpet.
Removing Cigarette Burns from cloth seats
Ok this is a lot of work and time, but when it's all done, it will be worth it.
1)First thing to do is to remove the seat from the car and bring it inside.
2)look on the underside of the seat. there should be a little bit of extra fabric around the edges, somewhere completely out of sight.
3)Now take the cover off the seat.
4)get a really sharp knife, like an x-acto knife from a hobby shop.
5)cut the edges of the cig burn away, so that no black is showing.
6)go back to the spot where you found the extra material and cut out a small piece. for a typical cig sized burn, you need a piece the size of a dime or maybe a little bit smaller.
7)take the knife and scrape off the fuzz around the edges of your scrap piece. the idea is to get all the fuzz off the piece except for the part that will show through the hole.
8)match the grain of the fuzz up so that it 'lays down' in the same direction as the seat does.
9)now take some crazy glue and attach the scrap piece to the back of the seat cover behind the hole.
10)let it dry and then put the seat back together
If you have done this right, it is almost invisable unless you know exactly what and where to look for.
