what size bolts do i need for the strut bar

 

why not use the stock bolts on the stock strut bar....your post is confusing bud. they are 12's.

 

i posted that originally but then deleted the post...thinking "maybe he has an ls,gs,rs. no stock strut bar...no stock bolts.".

 

i have an ls no stock bolts sorry to confuse you

 

 

i think the bolt size is 8mm or 9mm, but im pretty sure its 8mm. the 8mm bolt does not screw into the hole, it should fall in, but not throught the hole. i used some washers on the bottom of the chassis and top of the ends of my oem itr strut bar.

 

Im wondering if the dealership will have these bolts and how they would fit.

 

i checked my dealership before and they do not have them because there is no part number for it. they are considered part of the chassis.

 

You can use any size bolt/washer/nut combo that works. Just go to Lowes or your local hardware store, or even Pepboys.
