mods on 85 crx si?
what kinds of modifications are you'll running on your 84-87 crx's, im not sure what kind of mods to do to an 85 crx si w/ 1st gen b16a swap. i really have no clue about what do to with the front torison bars also. i am having lots of trouble finding any aftermarket stuff for this car. i am going to autocross this car for a year then do honda challenge in the h1 class.

OPM Motorsports also offers parts for that car, and Ground Control should have suspension bits. Honestly, with the original engine, the '85 CRX Si is still a very good car for autocross.

and for the question about how is the b16a in the crx, its very quick and potent and i am very impressed on how it turned out, the only thing it needs now is a good suspension setup (im thinkin about koni yellows) and some good tires (im thinkin azenis) and as for the 1/4 times, i dont do drag racing and i will never do drag racing in this car, i personally dont like drag racing, im going to road race this car, but im sure it would be somewhere in the high 13's w/ bolt ons and good tires.
Suspension technologies has torsion bars for that chassis and there's another company I can't remember who though. By the way they never made an '85 Si it was an '85 S. They aren't fuel injected. Great car for Auto-Xing. I'd spend the extra bucks and get a ZC swap for it. B -series is more for drag racing than Auto-X. Seriously look look for the tranny stuff those D-trannies are weak. Housemanautosport.com has some stuff. There's abunch more I just haven't looked for a while, so if I remmeber I'll post them, ok... I do know that you should buy a welder and some tubing if your going to anything mildly aggresive with that car. They flex like crazy. Oh yeah Pacestter still makes some stuff for it too. Rotas fit great by the way. I have sub-zero's and they ride very nicely with Pirelli Z rated.

Ground control also offers bigger torsion bars & stiffer springs.
http://www.redpepperracing.com is good for it's FORUM as well - good resource there...
Ah, one question for you, though: A/C or no?
They did make an 85 Si and it WAS Fi.....Was only available in US, europe and everywhere else but Canada. We only got 1.5L carb in 1985-86.
I don't know where you are gettig the "they flex like crazy thing from"?
I've got 23mm torsion bars and Eibach reas springs, plus a suspension techniques rear sway bar in mine and don't have any issues! A front strut brace does however make a noticable difference.
