97 Acura 3.0 CL
I looked at a 97 3.0 CL with 58k miles. The dealer wants 9500.00 dollars. Is this too good to be true? What are common problems with this model? What do I need to look out for? Thanks.

decent cars if you want to leave them preety stock. there are limited mods that you have to work with, even less than the F-series motors.
torque is good, sound is to die for.
the fact that they didnt make a manual tranny that can bolt up to the J30 does hurt the potential. the new 6spd can work, but it costs way more than it gets to be worth.
all in all, that is a good price on a good car, but if you wanna have fun with it, get the 4cyl 5spd.

They are well built engines.. seem to last on my friends 97.. and he never ******* takes care of it.. I dont know how long since hes had an oil change or tune-up.. the beast still runs strong for him.. But if I were you, I would not go for a Slow-o-matic transmission.. stick with speed.

Honda didnt make a 3.0 CL with a stick. If they had many a person would be swaping to a stick on the accord V6 as they use the same engine the J30A
