2g CRX front suspension overhaul pics (Dial-up *BEWARE*)
I finally came up with the cash for my 90' CRX SI fron suspension rebuild. The rolling chassis has 181,000 miles. Both upper a arm ball joints & lower ball joints were shot along with both wheel bearings. Wheel studs were also replaced along with the both tie rod ends. I also too the axles back to autozone and got another remanufactured set for free
. I removed the spindels thursday and had a local shop press in the wheel bearings, lug studs, and lower ball joints on friday. I finished up last night (saturday) and took it for a spin. OH MAN what a difference night & day. It had a bad front end clunk. Its gone. Front end is much tighter and responds very well. I need to get an alignment now. It drives sooooo much better, Anyways heres some pics I snapped while doing it. Enjoy. HAPPY NEWYEAR Everyone
