ps zex kits are not my favorite because dry systems unless youve converted it
You should have gone with NGK plugs. I've been running 75 shot on my stock f22b1 for little over 6 months now. 97k Miles and still running strong.
You sure you did the right thing because the zex kit sound pretty good. I am running nos wet kit with 70 shots and it has no problems on a stock motor they say the highest you can go is 80 shot on a stock motor. Did you get a ignition retarder or did you retard the timing on your car. If you did it with the belt then that might of been the problem. When they mean retard they mean the ignition and the only way to retard that is to buy a device for it. The same thing goes with any other forced induction. The spark plug couldn't of caused the problem some thing was wrong with the timing. next time check if you are running everything correctly. sounds like pre-ignition that caused it.
you can't blame the nitrous. for all you know it could have been something completely different that caused the problem. also, if your car was going to die, putting an extra 75 horse on it would kill it quicker, wouldn't matter how you got 75 horse, turbo, superchager, nitrous....if it was going to die it was probably the extra hp or maybe something was wrong with your car. they do make lemons and stuff does just happen to fail. I've had things go horribly wrong on my motorcycles that had nothing to do with teh performence parts i add to them, just falty parts that would have died, the extra power i run on them just killed it sooner.
