Default Need a little help here and yes i did do a search :)

ok I have a B16 in a 1990 CRX Si it has a Ys1 with LSD tranny I am parting together a turbo kit over the winter . I have so far a t3 450cc DSM and 1Dsm BOV and a intercooler , as well as a 255fuel pump and the drop shop manifold. I will be boosting 8-10psi or so I have a Saab t3 .42 turbine on the turbo but it is small and I found a guy who will sell me a new one for $275+shipping t3 with a/r .48 turbine housing and a/r .60 compressor housing. or A T3 in a a/r .48 turbine with a Garrett 14 wheel for $350+ shipping. now my car is mainly on the street it will see the track a few times but not that much.so I am looking for something that will work good for that.now I was looking at the hondata for a while but there is only one shop near me and they want like $1200 to put it in and tune it which seems really High to me so I was going to go with the hack or something like that but that is $300 plus I would need the msd 6btm and that is another $300 . now I now I am also getting my Ecu chipped to remove the speed limiter on it because I have a Pr3 so I have to figure out what I am going to do with my 2 o2 sensors as well they guy who is going to do my Ecu said he had a turbo program one for 8psi and 11psi . has anyone used one of these programs , if so how good are they ? my goal is for around 260+ whp, 300whp would be nice but well see I want to keep the motor internal stock if I can .. sorry for such a long post I just want to get this project roll by the time spring rolls around.. thank again

That power level is obtainable with more boost. I wouldn't trust anyone hacking my ECU's. I'd do myself. That guy isn't putting all his money into the motor, nor is he doing all the work.

Ahh what was the question again oh yea computer question I think you should think about all the money you already have or are going to put into this car in the end why go the cheap (not sure if even reliable) way! Just remember no matter what computer you run the only proper way to utilize it is the dyno

sorry i will rewrite it later so it is easier to read for people..
ok what kind of power would i be looking at 8-11psi? How much lang are we talking ? power by when ?
Well the hole thing is i live in mass and i have no clue where a dyno is . i am guess the guy with the hondat has one but that $1200 was just to put it in and tune it he said like 4hr of tune or something like that. i cant remenber how much he want for the hondat it self ..
i dont know. i dont want this project to get out of hand $$ but i dont want my moter to go pop! would i just be ok with just the hack ?
