is the vtec inatke manifold different than the non vtec manifold?

They are the same.

If you go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

You can put in the 2dr ex and get the part number for the manifold.

Then put in a model without vtec and see if the part numbers are the same.

They both use 112922 and 112926 for the lower/upper parts of the manifold.

Just an FYI the venom requires some custom fabrication to get it to work on a daily driven car. Its made for drag only otherwise

 

Might as well get a custom manifold built for your application instead of spending all that money with venom or str.

 

id just port and polish the friggin stock one. i own a 4th gen and i dont thing anything but a motor swap will help our piles. so do it the cheap way if ur doin anything at all. work with wat u already got, get a dremel and go to town.

 

H23a1, H22a intake manifold will fit, but portmatching and some vacuum magic needs to be done for it to run good.
