Ya.. change your fuses...there should be some extra 20 amp fuses in your fuse box....use the ones for the rear power windows if you dont have a four door, they put 20a fuses there even tho we dont have four doors!..i only realized this after i bought spare fuses
!!
!!
i say change them cuz i turned my headlights on when the car wasnt started and it blew em...so i upgraded
they are only a buck, so what the ****...mine as well get them

For those of you who have been recommended to change their fuse; what HID kit are you guys using?
Any retrofit HID kit that cannot work with the car's OEM fuse would give me second thoughts about the quality.
Just my .02 $

well i have the McCulloch kit.
I think most, if not all, of the HID kits require a higher rated fuse because during startup (ignition of the gases) it draws a large amount of current.

You sir obviously have never used any hid retrofit kit. The initial current draw is about 9-11 amps, that is why you need to upgrade to a 15 amp fuse
did you not respond to my classified thread about the HID bulbs I am selling off my 9006 retrofit kits?

Good one.
