OMP pedal install
Put a wooden block behind the pedal and use a sharp drill bit. Use your muscles! PUSH!
yup
it helps to use a metal punch and put a dent where you want to drill. then grow some ***** and push that **** through. haha that sounded funny
ok i got a cobalt drill bit and was able to drill through the metal, but now the problem is that for the gas pedal there is a large metal piece that protrudes out and the bolt does not even clear that metal piece in order for the nut fasten onto the bolt. I was thinking of getting a longer bolt, but then my gas pedal might have clearance issues if it is on full throttle. Any ideas?

[edit] You can see how I have a bolt on each side. Don't feel bad if you have to drill again, my pedals look like swiss cheese.

I had to do just about the same thing with my Sparco Pedals. It takes ALOT of pushing or just a strong drilling device (in my case, air compressed drill). If you dont have the appropriate tools, I believe you have to mount it SOMEWHAT crooked (like the picture above) because the back of the lever/pedal gets into the way.
A way around that is to grind off some of the lever. Here is my setup if I may.
