will rear brakes off a 91 crx fit on my hatch?
Yes it will fit, but the e-brake cables are going to be too short. You're going to need the e-brake cables from a 90-93 Teg.
does anyone have a write up page ? i am trying to do same thing 90-91 crx si rear disk conversion on my 1989 dx hatchback
what brake booster do i need and where do i get a 40/40 valve from what car ?

Get a 90-93 Integra Non-ABS brake booster and prop valve. (for SiR equivalent, I'm sure CRX install will be the same, I don't think you need to change the MC though)

Why? You don't need the CRX MC/BB because yours should be the same. Just because you are getting rear discs doesn't mean you need anything bigger than your stock MC/BB.

ohh ok, so then can i use a stock 2040 prop valve or do i deff need to use a 90-93 teg 4040 prop valve ?????
then i should have everything i need to complete my setup right ?

does anyone know if i can just use my stock 2040 valve when puttin on my rear crx si disks or do i have to have the 4040 valve from the teg to make it work.
i was told u can use stock master cylinder (13/16) & brake booster when puttin on the back disk conversion bc it was that way from off the crx ..... but i just wanna make sure about the prop valve so i got the right one to make the job work properly.

The stock one will work but may apply too much pressure to the rear brakes, making them lock up easily, not really a good idea. I would definitely upgrade to a 40/40 prop valve.
If you want to upgrade the mc and not the bb, use a 90-91 civic ex or 90-91 prelude 15/16 mc. They bolt up to the stock bb.

ok ill do it .... will the 4040 valve lines fit the same as the 2040 meaning all i have to do is put my stock civic bracket on the 4040 and everything will match back up perfectly ?
You won't have to bend any brake lines with the 40/40 DA proportioning valve. I used the DA bracket but I'm sure stock bracket will work fine.
Also no bending of brake lines if you get the 91 Civic EX master cylinder.

You dont need a write up for something so simple. Only hard part you going to come across with is unbolting the ecable around the gas tank.

should i take my gas tank down or just unbolt the gas tank clamps a lil to get in there to upbolt the E-brake brackets

yeah there are 2 cables, one for each side. Like I said, the tank is the only big problem you going to run into. What you do with the tank is unscrew the bolt until it reaches the end of the bolt. That should give you enough comfortable space to take out and put in the cables. Also, get the 40/40 proportional valve and you dont have to do anything to the MC since you leaving the front brakes stock.
