Here's my EGT gauge:

 

incogNitto, does your gauge show a little bluish-white around the edges, especially in the center when you look at it from an angle? I have the dgauge for boost and it looks that way. Nothing major, but I was just wondering if this was normal.

 

autometer's are back lit "amber"... they come with a little red light bulb condom

 

It does have those little edges, but like you said, you can only see it at an angle.

Don't sweat it, at least you're not the only one.

I have the silver face GReddy 60mm gauges and they are the best amber lit ones I've ever seen. They're kinda expensive, but I think it was worth it.
