What size bolt do I need to use to secure the turbo to mani?
Just a quick question... What bolt should I use to secure the turbo to mani? Im out of town working and have access to any type of bolts I need. Since I didn't bring the parts with me, I need some help. Thanks guys.
It depends what manifold you are using, but most use M10 x 1.25 bolts. Probably about 1-1.25" long and make sure to use a lockwasher as well.
Im using the full-race manifold and 60-1. Another thing, is it better to use a metric head or should I go with something that has a allen head? I know that the heat put to those bolts can nearly weld them togehter...would the allen head be easier in the long run?
if your manifold isn't treaded for any specific type of fastner, get a stainless steel nut/bolt combo. they sell them at jegs & summit. i think they're 9/16 (14mm)?

it depends on the manifold. Flamenco's got a used a revhard and we got the M10 by 1.25 30mm for it cause thats what my mani uses. then when install came it needed 1.5 thread. maybe it had been tapped out by the original user or maybe revhard changes it. i guess just make sure.
