stripping paint off spray painted intercooler
is it okay to spray aircraft cleaner/paint stripper in the fins? i know aircraft cleaner can get thick at times. i dont want to get that **** clogged or anything.
Just rinse it out good...I don't see why it would hurt. I can't think of a much better way to get the paint out. It'll be hard to not bend the fins.
Yep, interested in this as well. Has anybody used aircraft remover? Maybe the originator of this thread did. How did it turn out? Thanks.

I just stripped a bunch of aluminum with that stripper. Just use a soft narrow paint brush to work it around between the fins. Rinse with parts cleaner or water. re-apply stripper if needed. Works great
heat makes aircraft stripper work much better. Since its non flammalbe, i'd suggest using a hair dryer or heat gun to help activate the stripper!
