Built B16A engine BRAND NEW!
For sale: Built B16A engine: less than 2000 miles. Broke in engine myself. $4300 o.b.o.
B16A bock (1st gen): CTR pistons, machined to fit the stock rods, cylinder walls inspected and checked for roundness, honed for the new pistons and rings, CTR pistons are standard size.
main bearings and rod inspected and reused (they are in very good condition for a JDM
engine, very rare!!) Oil pump is brand new from 2000 Civic Si, modified for
more flow and less friction, to keep all the moving parts lubed at those high RPMS.)
Also new parts: crank seal, oil pan gasket, water pump and gasket, rear
main seal, timing belt tensioner and timing belt.
B16A head (1st gen): Ported and polished, match ported to intake and exhaust ports. Combustion chamber massaged to prevent pre-ignition. Head was pressure tested and cleaned. (Oil return modified to help get oil to oil pan much faster), multi angle valve job. Port flow inner valve
springs and titanium retainers. Brand-new USDM ITR cams, adjustable cam gears.
Also brand new: thermostat and gasket, cam seals, valve stem seals, valve cover gasket, head
gasket, distributor o-ring, cam end cap, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets. Didn't shave the head, but if you'd like, it would be safe to take off 20 thousandths and run street gas, but not recommended. Would run a management system to be safe.
Transmission: 2000 ITR tranny, 4.7ratio limited slip, custom lightened b16a2 flywheel, new Act clutch kit, new axles, custom shift linkage for the Ek6-9 coupe, neuspeed short shifter. The tranny does not grind.
I have all the mounts for the ek6-9 (it is a direct drop in). I will need you old engine harness (to trade with mine or I can modify yours)
I have a p28 computer that needs to be chipped or use management system (you will need a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness.)
Only used Honda motor oil.
Only used Honda transmission fluid.
